Invent-Tech’s Manufacturer Introduction Packages elicit response

April 24th, 2006

Invent-Tech’s Sr. Technical Writer back to continue with a summary of our services.  Once an inventor approves preliminary marketing materials, like the Press Release, the search for suitable licensing partners, such as manufacturers, distributors, and marketing companies involved in new product development, can begin. Invent-Tech’s trained researchers understand both the invention and the manufacturer’s point of view, spanning a wide field of industries, in order to locate and target companies that best match the product.

The researchers draw upon Invent-Tech’s extensive in-house database of manufacturers, expensive membership-based online directory services, trade show contacts, and a variety of other sources to provide inventors with Manufacturer Introduction Packages.

The Manufacturer Introduction Packages are designed to confidentially build awareness and demand, getting the prospect’s attention, and then facilitating a very quick and convenient response via reply card, phone or fax. The search for potential licensees is ongoing throughout the term of the inventor’s contract with Invent-Tech and is optionally supplemented by any particular companies the inventor may wish to contact or may have located on their own. It is truly a collaborative effort on the part of the inventor and Invent-Tech; one that we encourage our inventors to participate in fully.

Invent-Tech’s method of contacting potential manufacturers is primarily intended to generate only enough interest to warrant a second, more detailed look at the product under the appropriate terms of confidentiality.

Inventors are very involved throughout this manufacturer review process. They are aware of the companies their invention is presented to, and they are notified when an interested manufacturer responds. They do not have to worry about what to do during this next phase, as Invent-Tech’s Manufacturer Response Team immediately supplies interested parties with a non-disclosure agreement that, upon execution, gives the interested party access to any and all available design information, primarily via the product’s Invention Website. Inventors are kept abreast of any developments while Invent-Tech’s representatives handle the subsequent steps.

[…] The Invention Website enables Invent-Tech’s Manufacturer Response Team to quickly respond to the interest of manufacturers reached through the Manufacturer Information Packages and the other various means the company employs to gain notice from potential licensees. In fact, one of the very first questions most companies will ask about an invention they are interested in is, “Do you have a website for this product?” It has truly become that integral to the modern business environment.
