Invent-Tech secures advanced level of interest in holiday accessory; licensing discussions continue on hunting product

Good evening, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing checking in with another update. We have had a typically busy day here, and have been able to secure an advanced level of interest on yet another invention. This one item represents a unique twist on a traditional holiday product, and the company, which happens to be one that we originally met during a 2005 trade show, is very interested in exploring the potential of it further. We will keep you posted on any developments with this on the Invent-Tech Network.
We also were busy today putting the final touches on the modifications of the licensing agreement for the hunting accessory that we have been mentioning during this week. An independent patent attorney with experience in licensing products is reviewing the wording and determining if any additional adjustments will be necessary. We expect to send everything back to the interested company within the next couple of days and we will then await their feedback.
Finally, the Manufacturer Response Team also exchanged e-mails today with the principal of an overseas company who had expressed an advanced level of interest in a household accessory several months ago, and who has been considering the item for licensing. In fact, this is the same Asian company we alluded to back in an April 18th entry (”Neither time zone nor language differences deter Invent-Tech’s licensing attempts…“).We were informed they are still reviewing the draft of the licensing agreement we sent them and will be getting back to us shortly.
As usual, we have been kept quite busy with interest being shown from all directions in Invent-Tech client products. We expect the summer to be a very dynamic and productive one. Stay tuned to the Invent-Tech Network to be kept abreast of the latest news!

A Manufacturer’s Response Team representative back at our offices received an e-mail today from the manufacturer stating that their attorneys had accepted the majority of changes we had proposed to their draft of a licensing agreement. While a couple of more points of negotation still remain to be resolved, it appears that we are inching closer to the successful culmination of this potential licensing scenario. […]
