Multiple meetings highlight Invent-Tech’s start to Day 2 of Licensing International 2006…
June 21st, 2006
Good afternoon, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with our first update from Day 2 of Licensing International 2006. Much like yesterday, the first few hours of this event have been incredibly busy, and this is our first opportunity to provide an update on the many positive developments that have been transpiring.
We just wrapped up a 4 hour meeting in our booth with representatives of several companies, who are looking for items in the categories of toys, games, sporting goods, health and beauty, cosmetics, and novelty items. One of the companies holds the licensing rights to several prestigious brands that they are looking to place on innovative and exciting new items. They are all very excited about the fact that Invent-Tech can serve as an ongoing source of new product information. We went over the preliminary information for quite a few product ideas in these categories over the 4 hour time period, and we certainly have quite a bit of follow-up to do once we get back to our offices after the show.
Additionally, another one of our Manufacturer Response Team representatives has had multiple meetings today with the licensee of the Bag Rack and several of his business associates. As I’d reported yesterday in this space, the licensee has been extremely pleased with the experience of working with Invent-Tech so far, and he wanted to introduce the representatives of several other companies to us to discuss possible future product commercialization opportunities.
Check back frequently with the Invent-Tech Network for more updates from Day 2, as we expect many more newsworthy developments!
