Invent-Tech holds meeting with representatives of leading children’s cable channel on Day 3 of Licensing International 2006…

Good afternoon, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in once again with a follow-up to a scenario we first reported on last night here on the Invent-Tech Network. As we had mentioned in our final entry for yesterday, we had received an impromptu introduction to the Director of Hardlines Product Development for a major children’s cable network and had scheduled more of an official meeting with him for today.

That meeting did indeed take place, and we had an opportunity to discuss their network’s product positioning strategies and the corresponding item categories that their various character images would potentially fit well with. We were able to develop a preliminary strategy of what types of ideas we can supply them information on, and we discussed important logistical and legal matters such as their preferred methods of receiving product information, as well as their policies on confidentiality. They are very comfortable with signing non-disclosure agreements, and we should therefore be able to seamlessly forge and maintain an ongoing relationship with them.

We feel that this contact, along with the countless others we’ve made during these three very fruitful days, will potentially serve our inventors very well. Even though the show is winding down, we are still not done! We expect to be busy until the final bell and will provide an additional update later this afternoon, right here on the Invent-Tech Network.
