ASI Show Chicago 2006 closes out with a bang for Invent-Tech; another potential licensing scenario developing back at the office…
July 14th, 2006
Good evening, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with an update and wrap-up of the second and final day of the ASI Show. The event closed out successfully for Invent-Tech, as we experienced a steady stream of visitors to the booth, even in the waning hours of the show. Also, as was the case yesterday, we continued to receive potentially positive news from our colleagues back at the office on yet another case of serious interest from a company in a product from the Invent-Tech roster.
This particular item is a sports instructional accessory, and the company appears to definitely want to investigate its potential further for possible future licensing. They also are interested in having Invent-Tech send them information on other product ideas in that general category. As always, we will keep you posted on any developments with this situation on the Invent-Tech Network.
The interest demonstrated in a baseball instructional accessory that was reported on in our final entry for the day yesterday also took another step. The Manufacturer Response Team representative that is handling this scenario back at the office let us know that he exchanged e-mails with the company today, and they appear to be ready to take the next step of investing money into some intensive research on various aspects of the product. We will also continue to update you on this possible licensing situation here on the Invent-Tech Network.
All in all, we experienced a fruitful mid-summer stop in Chicago for the ASI Show, and are also very hopeful of the interest that is being demonstrated in multiple product ideas from the Invent-Tech roster. Check back with us daily for continuing updates on all of these situations!

[…] For one, we were able to further solidify the interest being shown by the company we’d most recently reported on in our July 14 entry (”ASI Show Chicago 2006 closes out with a bang for Invent-Tech; another potential licensing scenario developing back at the office…“). The company has officially put their interest in this item in writing, and has decided to perform further legal research on the product idea. We are obviously hoping this will eventually lead to a licensing agreement, and we are certainly encouraged by the level of interest being demonstrated so far. […]
