Licensee recognizes value of Invent-Tech client’s protective invention

Bumping your legs or feet into a bed’s legs or frame can be very painful and annoying. Vivian H. from Oregon was inspired to create a preventative solution through personal experience stubbing her toes and using makeshift methods to avoid doing so. She decided to design a specialized product and called her idea Bed Bumpers.

Vivian’s useful new product prevents individuals from stubbing their toes or bumping their legs. Bed Bumpers enables individuals to safely make the bed or move about without danger of injury. It is compact, simple to use and appealing to a vast market of consumers worldwide.

Recognizing that Vivian’s complaint was a common one and her invention effectively addressed it, a household product company has decided to pursue production of Bed Bumpers. She signed a potentially lucrative multi-year agreement that includes an extremely competitive royalty rate compared to current rates being paid in the industry in July 2006.
