Invent-Tech continues to go above and beyond in its licensing efforts…

September 1st, 2006

Good evening, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, wrapping up what has been an eventful week leading up to the Labor Day holiday. Today, we took another step in assisting the company who has been expressing a serious interest in a beverage accessory from the Invent-Tech invention roster, and also received yet another request for  packaging design assistance for a previously licensed product.

This past Wednesday, August 30th we had reported on the request for design assistance we had received from the company that has been evaluating a beverage accessory from our roster (”Invent-Tech takes another positive step toward potential licensing of beverage accessory…“). Our Visual Design team representative assigned to work on providing some samples of packaging to the company accomplished the rare but coveted feat of producing high quality work in a very short amount of time. Within 24 hours he had e-mailed back the company representative multiple samples of packaging designs that look extremely professional and visually appealing. We are awaiting word back from our contact, who must present the ideas to certain people within her firm. We will continue to keep you posted on what we hope is an eventual licensing agreement!

Additionally, we also received an e-mail from the licensee of the Dust Stoppers, a product that Invent-Tech assisted in licensing back on March 21st (”Upholstery maker licenses invention from Invent-Tech clients“). As we had reported in that entry and subsequent ones (see March 22nd, “Invent-Tech exercises the power of negotiation in Dust Stoppers licensing agreement…“), we built up a strong and trusting relationship with this company during the process of coming to an agreement on the terms of licensing for the invention. This was further evidenced today by their e-mail asking our Visual Design Department to provide some packaging design ideas for a couple of different variations of the invention that they are attempting to bring to market before the year is over. They also reported in their e-mail that they are making headway with getting ready for mass production, and the packaging would be one of the steps left to complete before the product is ready to be introduced to consumers.

Invent-Tech will be looking into providing whatever expertise we can in assisting this company as well. This is yet another example of Invent-Tech’s willingness to explore all situations where we may be able to pool our resources with manufacturers and marketers in the effort to help products make it to the consumer market.

I am one of your clients and I strongly believe that you would like to see something become of my invention. I have prayed about it and put the rest in my God’s hand. I don’t know that steps are beening taken toward making my dream a reality, but God knows and will deal with it. I always let the Lord fight my battles, because I am nothing by myself.
