Invent-Tech secures advanced level of interest in writing on fan accessory; serious dialogue taking place with company over tool invention as well…
November 14th, 2006
Good evening, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with our Tuesday evening update. Today saw a fan accessory from the Invent-Tech roster take the next step towards potential licensing, as well as the continuation of discussions with a company interested in the potential of a tool invention that Invent-Tech recently sent them detailed design information about.
The fan accessory is the same product idea that we initially reported on in a November 9th entry (”Invent-Tech conducts discussion with manufacturer expressing advanced level of interest in fan accessory…”). As we had mentioned in that posting, the manufacturer was possibly interested in exploring the potential of this product idea further. They confirmed their interest in doing some extensive research and development today in writing, and may possibly produce a prototype in the near future. The next step will be a conference call between the inventor, the manufacturer, and the Manufacturer Response Team representative handling this scenario, which will possibly take place later this week. As customary, we will bring you details on further developments here on the Invent-Tech Network.
Additionally, another Manufacturer Response Team representative engaged in e-mail discussions today with a company that has been showing increasing levels of interest in a tool product from the Invent-Tech roster. The company originally received all of the detailed design information on the idea several days ago after signing a non-disclosure agreement. The Manufacturer Response Team representative has been discussing the goal of product licensing that both the inventor and our company have for this invention, and the company agreed today to review a draft of a licensing agreement. While we have no way of knowing what will eventually transpire in this situation, we are encouraged by the direction that discussions seem to be taking. Any positive news regarding this scenario will be reported here on the Invent-Tech Network as soon as it happens.
Both of these situations are tangible examples of Invent-Tech’s aggressiveness and initiative in attempting to service the inventors and inventions that we represent in the most effective ways possible. Join us tomorrow for more exciting news!
