Invent-Tech receives strong interest in game idea from established manufacturer with licensing history…
January 17th, 2007
Good evening, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with our Wednesday update. While our most recent focus has rightfully been on the extravaganza that was the SHOT Show, we also have been hard at work back at home base as usual, fielding interest on product ideas from the Invent-Tech roster.
One such example unfolded today. I personally had an extensive conversation with a game products manufacturer who has been in business for over 10 years and is interested in learning more about a new game idea from the Invent-Tech roster, as well as in receiving game ideas from us on an ongoing basis. I went over Invent-Tech’s confidentiality policies and licensing goals, all of which the manufacturer was amenable to. In fact, the contact at the company, which is also the founder and CEO, explained that they have entered into licensing agreements throughout the years with a number of inventors and have no aversion to paying royalties for good product ideas.
After our conversation, the manufacturer promptly faxed me the signed non-disclosure agreement for the specific invention that he had originally contacted us about, and a package of detailed design information on the idea will be on its way to him by tomorrow. The manufacturer expressed intrigue in what he was able to learn about the product through the preliminary, non-confidential information he was recently sent in one of our Manufacturer Contact Kits, and is looking forward to determining whether it will be a good long-term fit for his company. As always, we will keep you posted on any developments, here on the Invent-Tech Network.
This serves as yet another example of the effectiveness that Invent-Tech’s methods have in garnering responses from the appropriate companies. We are always pleased to see tangible evidence of the inroads that our processes can create for the different inventions on our roster.
Join us tomorrow for more positive news!
