Invent-Tech receives advanced level of interest in kitchen accessory from European company…

January 19th, 2007

Good evening, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with an update to wrap up our busy and fruitful week. I have just finished exchanging correspondence with the Managing Director of a major appliance company in England that had written a letter of interest regarding a kitchen accessory from the Invent-Tech roster.

The company had been sent a package of detailed design information on the invention after having signed a non-disclosure agreement several weeks ago. They then sent us the letter expressing a desire to find out more about the inner workings and components of the product, as well as discussing their existing distribution territories where a product such as this one could be sold. Additionally, they are also stating their desire to discuss the product and our licensing goals more in detail in the near future.

We have informed the company that we would like to ideally set up a telephone meeting between them, the inventor, and Invent-Tech at some point next week. As this is still a developing and fluid situation, we have no way of knowing what will eventually transpire, but are enthused about the approach the manufacturer has taken so far. As always, we will keep you updated on the latest, here on the Invent-Tech Network.

Join us Monday as we kick off what will be another great week!

[…] Secondly, updating a scenario that we first reported on in a January 19th entry (”Invent-Tech receives advanced level of interest in kitchen accessory from European company…“), I did receive an e-mail response today from the Managing Director of the company requesting that we speak next Wednesday, January 31st. The company remains very excited about the prospects of the item and the contact reiterated their particular desire to market and distribute the item in the future. Next week’s discussion will center on matters related to the further research and development the product idea still requires before even prototyping is possible, as well as possible sources the company can utilize in the future for ongoing manufacturing. This situation continues to unfold, and we will bring you updates as they are available, here on the Invent-Tech Network. […]
