Invent-Tech clients invent products for better oral care
January 24th, 2007
If you are a regular reader of the Invent-Tech Network, you may have noticed that we include an entry about products on our invention roster that are tied to a theme every week. Generally, they have something to do with topics in the news, or holidays and events in the near future.
You may have wondered who writes these entries, so I would like to introduce myself. My name is Alex, and I am Invent-Tech’s Senior Technical Writer. In addition to these product-focused entries, I sometimes write historical entries about famous inventors and inventions, entries about Invent-Tech’s departments and services, and major company announcements.
The main subject of Juan Blanco’s entry yesterday was a dental product that was recently licensed. It reminded me that some inventions are geared toward everyday living, and their development and availability can be taken for granted. Yet, improving products that are used in nearly every household on a daily basis can have the most impact on improving lives. Beginning with the theme that Juan’s entry introduced yesterday, Invent-Tech represents many more beneficial oral care products.
Many people have a hard time learning the right technique for brushing their teeth. This can lead to poor oral health. For some, brushing too hard is the problem; for others, it’s brushing too soft. Judy S., a resident of New York, created Brush Lite to help consumers with their dental care routine.
This clever new invention teaches individuals how to brush their teeth properly without causing harm to their gums and tooth enamel. It is a great learning tool for those with disabilities and young children. Consumers will notice the superior health of their mouths and avoid frustrating visits to the dentist.
Walking Floss, invented by Jai W. of California, makes floss constantly and conveniently accessible to ensure proper dental hygiene. Most people hear from their dentist that they should floss more. This breakthrough new idea enables them to follow their dentist’s orders whenever and wherever they have the chance.
Walking Floss would attract the general consumer for its simple convenience, though dental offices or related product manufacturers using this innovation as an advertising opportunity are a viable secondary market. With such a vast and varied group of potential consumers, Walking Floss should have no trouble tapping into the market through any outlet that sells dental products.
Bad breath, halitosis, no matter how you put it, it stinks! Gums, mints and sprays can only do so much. Now, thanks to an inventor from Alabama, a clever new product is available to prevent foul-smelling breath.
Check Your Breath, created by Brenda G., alerts users when their breath is less than pleasant. It is a practical product that is sure to benefit a wide market of consumers. It eliminates embarrassment when on a date, interview or during everyday conversation. Additionally, Check Your Breath is affordable, simple to use and helps promotes good dental hygiene and fresh breath.
We have introduced just a few of the beneficial oral care products our clients have invented.
