Invent-Tech secures advanced level of interest in several pet products; further dialogue occurs with European company interested in kitchen accessory…
January 25th, 2007
Good evening, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with our Thursday update. As the week draws to a close, we continue to see new and exciting opportunities emerge for inventions on our roster. Additionally, we also had another dialogue today with the Managing Director of the European company that we recently reported had an interest in a kitchen accessory.
We began the day with news that a company that had recently signed non-disclosure agreements on several pet products from the Invent-Tech database was particularly interested in exploring the potential of three of these items further after viewing their invention websites. This is the same company that has been instrumental in the securing of licensing agreements for the Lettuce Lopper, Cookie Slicer, Serving Spoon, and Lighted Santa Hat in the past 18 months. This time around, they are working closely with a company that has the brand license of a highly rated pet cable television show, and that has an inside track with one of the world’s largest retail conglomerates for distribution. Accordingly, they sent us a request to scour the Invent-Tech database for inventions that fit the criteria they specified, and we provided them with the group of items from which they selected the aforementioned 3 pet inventions that they have expressed an advanced level of interest in. As we always emphasize, we have no way of knowing if any or all of these will eventually be the next Invent-Tech licensing success story, but have high hopes based on what has transpired so far.
Secondly, updating a scenario that we first reported on in a January 19th entry (”Invent-Tech receives advanced level of interest in kitchen accessory from European company…“), I did receive an e-mail response today from the Managing Director of the company mentioned in that posting requesting that we speak next Wednesday, January 31st. The company remains very excited about the prospects of the item and the contact reiterated their particular desire to market and distribute the item in the future. Next week’s discussion will center on matters related to the further research and development the product idea still requires before even prototyping is possible, as well as possible sources the company can utilize in the future for ongoing manufacturing. This situation continues to unfold, and we will bring you updates as they are available, here on the Invent-Tech Network.
We wrap up yet another successful and productive week tomorrow. Join us here for the latest!

[…] Meanwhile, the company that had expressed an advanced level of interest in 3 pet items last week, and that we had reported on in a January 25th entry (”Invent-Tech secures advanced level of interest in several pet products; further dialogue occurs with European company interested in kitchen accessory…) requested that our Visual Design Team put together virtual reality presentations for the 3 inventions to aid in the evaluation process. Accordingly, the talented team of animators at Invent-Tech that specialize in creating this cutting-edge work have been diligently consulting with the inventors of these items in order to create the highest quality renditions possible. One of the presentations is already complete, and the other two are close to being ready to be sent to the inventors for approval as well. Once all of the presentations have been given the green light by the inventors, they will be shipped to the manufacturer. […]
