Breaking News: Copy of licensing agreement for kitchen accessory already signed by manufacturer received via fax this morning…

Good morning, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, back again with very good reason. We are very pleased to announce that the licensing agreement for the kitchen accessory from the Invent-Tech roster that we most recently reported on just last night (”Update: Invent-Tech still awaiting signed copy of licensing agreement from manufacturer for kitchen accessory…“) has now been received via fax, already signed by the manufacturer.

Our West Coast-based industry partner, who was instrumental in this agreement coming together, sent us the copy less than a half hour ago. We are particularly excited for the inventor, who as per the terms of the agreement, is due to receive a five-figure advance (UPDATE @ 12:00pm Eastern: Our industry partner now informs us that this specific provision may be revised by the licensee. We will bring you final word on this as soon as we receive it).

Because the inventor’s signature is not yet on the agreement, we are not at liberty to go into further detail at this time. However, as soon as we have a fully executed document, we will bring you much more about the both the invention and the agreement. Stay tuned!
