Company looking to reestablish relationship with Invent-Tech approaches booth during Day 2 of Hardware Show 2007…
May 9th, 2007
Good afternoon, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, back with another update regarding Day 2 of National Hardware Show 2007. Earlier this morning, our Invent-Tech booth at the show was approached by a new point person for innovation at a company that we have been dealing with for several years on an intermittent basis.
We had originally met a representative of this New York-based company, which also has a satellite office in Florida, at the Super Show 2004 in Orlando. We had sent the company information on different product ideas from the Invent-Tech roster since that point in time on various occasions, and although there was an advanced level of interest from them in two kitchen accessories in 2005, neither situation culminated in a licensing agreement.
The representative that approached the Invent-Tech booth this morning did emphasize that he had made it a point to see us during the show in order to let our team know that he was now the contact for new product development within his company, and that he wished to reignite the relationship with Invent-Tech. Our trade show team provided the gentleman with details on Innovation Direct™ , our new product idea subscription service for manufacturers, which he was intrigued by and expressed a desire to have his company become a part of.
We are naturally excited about the possibility of reestablishing a connection with this company, which boasts over a decade over getting innovative products in a variety of different categories to market according to their official website. We will bring you updates as this relationship evolves further over the coming weeks and months here on the Invent-Tech Network.
Join us later this afternoon for more!
