Invent-Tech trade show team returns from National Hardware Show 2007; preliminary follow-ups begin…

Good evening, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, here with our first of two Friday night updates. Our trade show team, which truly pounded the pavement during the last 3 days at the National Hardware Show 2007, was back in the office today. They arrived with a roll-up-the-sleeves attitude in regards to the many follow-ups that need to be conducted with the pleothora of potentially valuable leads garnered at the event.

Preliminary e-mail follow-ups of the “thank-you-for-stopping-by-our-booth” variety were already completed this afternoon with some of the companies met at the show. Additionally, one telephone conversation also took place with the Arizona-based manufacturer that we originally met at the International Home and Housewares Show 2007 in March and that also had their Vice President of Product Development stop by our booth at the National Hardware Show. This is the same company that we had most recently reported on in an April 5th entry (”Invent-Tech sends Innovation Direct™ package of 16 product ideas to International Home and Housewares Show lead…“).

Today’s telephone call served not only as an acknowledgement of their visit to our booth earlier this week, but it also provided us with the news that next week, the company plans to have a panel review of the 16 product ideas they were sent. They went as far as to say that we could realistically get a final answer on their impressions by the end of the week, and we will certainly bring you that information as soon as we have it, here on the Invent-Tech Network.
