Update: Early June now latest time frame for possible licensing agreement for Invent-Tech inventor’s kitchen accessory…

Good evening, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, back with a final update for our first day of the week here at the nation’s preeminent inventor assistance firm. We did receive one more update on a pending matter today, that being the potential licensing scenario we had most recently reported on in an April 17th entry (”Update: Invent-Tech receives latest news on possible licensing agreement for kitchen accessory…“).

As we’d mentioned in that posting, the Hong Kong-based company expressing an interest in the kitchen accessory from the Invent-Tech roster had requested that our industry partner give them until May 10th to make a final decision on whether or not they would take on the invention. In response to an e-mail request for an update over the weekend, the owner of the company stated that they had not been able to test market the other products they are considering in early May as they’d planned, and therefore needed until early June for a decision on the Invent-Tech inventor kitchen accessory. While Invent-Tech instructed our industry partner to let them know this would be acceptable, we continue in our customary efforts to also find other potential licensing candidates in the interim. We are hopeful that this company will eventually decide to sign the licensing agreement that has been in their hands for several weeks, but will also act in the best interest of the inventor and invention if another offer comes along in the meantime.
