Update: Invent-Tech receives communication regarding inventions of further interest from Innovation Direct™ company…
May 16th, 2007
Good afternoon, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in for the first time on a very busy Wednesday. The focus today has continued to be trade show follow-ups, and we have already heard back from two companies that we had recently e-mailed after the Hardware Show.
We had actually already had activity on this front yesterday evening, when we received an e-mail reply from the Sales Manager of the Texas-based manufacturer that we had most recently reported on during a May 10th entry (”Fellow exhibitor pays Invent-Tech substantial compliment during Day 3 of National Hardware Show 2007…“). This company was actually already part of our Innovation Direct™ program, and had been sent their initial package of information regarding 8 product ideas from the Invent-Tech database on March 8th. However, they also happened to be fellow exhibitors at the National Hardware Show 2007 and during their visit to our exhibit booth, had promised to follow up with us right after the show regarding the 4 inventions they had an interest in learning more about.
Accordingly, the e-mail we received last night from our contact at this company specified the 4 items they wanted to obtain detailed design information on. This morning, we prepared a non-disclosure agreement that was inclusive of all 4 inventions and promptly e-mailed it to our contact at the company. As per our procedure, we will be forwarding them access to all of the confidential details available on each item as soon we receive the agreement signed in return.
We are excited that our first Innovation Direct™ package to this company has already yielded further interest in half of the inventions that were included! This is particularly encouraging considering that this company had expressed from the onset that they were looking to expand their product lines by 8-10 items in the coming months.
We hope to have additional good news in the future regarding these 4 inventions and if and when we do, we will bring it to you here on the Invent-Tech Network. Stay tuned!
