DotComs licensing agreement another exercise in flexibility and collaboration for Invent-Tech…

March 18th, 2006

The licensing agreement announced yesterday in this space for the DotComs was another interesting example of how product commercialization can take many forms. It also helped to illustrate how collaboration and a certain faith in a product is also essential to bringing a deal together. In this case, Invent-Tech and the inventor were able to leverage the potential that a leading chocolate manufacturer and packager saw in the invention to set up that end of the process. With marketing and distribution also in place, and the manufacturer willing to accept a certain degree of risk due to their confidence in the DotComs, a deal was made possible.

Invent-Tech will now contract with the same patent attorney that assisted us in bringing together this arrangement to attempt to secure the appropriate intellectual property protection on this invention.
