Hello, Juan C. Blanco, ITT’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with an update to wrap up Day 1 coverage of the 2008 National Hardware Show with Lawn and Garden World. Traffic at the show continued to be consistent throughout the event’s inaugural day, and the ITT Licensing™ trade show contingent reports that some solid contacts on behalf of Invent-Tech inventors were made at the exhibit booth as a result.
One of the strong prospects is the owner of a Canadian plastics manufacturer that is essentially seeking new product ideas of all categories that could conceivably be fabricated from the material. The company was very receptive to the sound of ITT Licensing™’s Innovation Direct™ program, and is looking forward to receiving information on Invent-Tech inventor product ideas on an ongoing basis.
A second company that was dialogued with was a plumbing supplies manufacturer that is not only looking for inventions in his core business, but other hardware-related items as well. As with the aforementioned plastics company, this outfit will also enter the Innovation Direct™ program and receive a batch of Invent-Tech inventor product ideas to review shortly after the show has concluded.

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, ITT’s Director of Product Licensing, back with our wrap-up for all of the happenings on Day 2 of the 2008 Hardware Expo and Construction Products Exhibit. Traffic at the event continued at a brisk pace for the duration of Saturday afternoon and evening at the Puerto Rico Convention Center according to our trade show contingent, and a conversation with the representative of a company specializing in all types of trucking accessory highlighted the latter part of the day.
The company representative was intrigued at the possibilities that ITT Licensing™’s Innovation Direct™ program offers, and emphasized that his company would certainly be receptive to begin receiving new product idea information on Invent-Tech inventor product ideas an ongoing basis. The company currently manufactures and markets all types of products for light trucks and vans, and are open to expanding their lines if the right item comes along.
We are pleased to close out Day 2 with a tangible example of how it is entirely possible to meet a company that is in an industry that falls somewhat outside the official theme of a show, further substantiating ITT Licensing™’s belief that all of the trade shows we attend can present potential opportunity for any invention on the Invent-Tech roster.
Join us Sunday for the details on the final day of this event!

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, ITT’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with our final update for Day 2 of the International Home and Housewares Show. The event closed out in stronger fashion than yesterday’s opening day, as traffic was consistent until the show’s closing bell.
Of particular note at the ITT booth during the afternoon hours were two international contacts that were made that may prove to be valuable leads for product ideas from the Invent-Tech roster in the future. One gentleman is from a Turkey-based firm that is looking for a variety of new products and that was intrigued by the sound of ITT’s dynamic new product idea subscription service for manufacturers, Innovation Direct™. The second contact was the principal of a China-based private company that specializes in the manufacturing and distribution of various textiles and that also is receptive to further exploring a relationship with ITT in order to view information on Invent-Tech inventor product ideas.
We expect that the momentum established during today’s proceedings will carry over to the show’s final day tomorrow. We’ll have all the details on Day 3 here on the Invent-Tech Network. Check back with us!

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with another update for a busy Tuesday. Earlier Tuesday afternoon, Invent-Tech received the prototype samples and test data that the inventor of an auto accessory from our roster had sent at the request of an Arizona-based manufacturer that had recently signed an exclusive developmental agreement on his product idea. We had most recently reported on this situation in a December 3rd entry (”Breaking news: Invent-Tech receives signed exclusive developmental agreement from Arizona-based manufacturer for automotive accessory…“).
As we’d mentioned in that posting, the manufacturer had opted to enter into the agreement after becoming intrigued by what they had viewed on the invention website. They had also requested that the inventor send them samples of his prototype and any written test data he could put together on how the units had performed in vehicles he had tested them in. Accordingly, the Manufacturer Response Team member handling this situation had contacted the inventor and passed along the request last week.
The inventor, who had agreed to promptly comply, sent the materials to Invent-Tech on Monday, and the package arrived earlier today. Invent-Tech will now send the materials to the manufacturer tomorrow for their first-hand review.
We are certainly hopeful that this will be an important step on this invention’s journey to licensing success, but only time will tell. As further developments transpire with this situation, we will certainly update you here on the Invent-Tech Network.
Join us Wednesday for our mid-week happenings!

Good evening, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with an update on a busy Thursday for Invent-Tech and the Manufacturer Response Team. Earlier this afternoon, we engaged in serious telephone discussions with a manufacturer that had recently received detailed design information on a fan accessory from the Invent-Tech database. The company, which manufactures both on a “private label” basis for other companies as well as their own proprietary products, is considering doing further research on possible materials for the invention as well as possibly building a full prototype.
They have also expressed an interest in conducting at least one conference call with the inventor and Invent-Tech in order to obtain further insight into the possibilities for this invention. We are optimisitic about this company’s interest, as they are well established in the industry that our inventor’s product idea falls into. As customary, we will certainly keep you posted on any further positive developments with this situation here on the Invent-Tech Network.
Join us tomorrow for the latest!

Juan C. Blanco, Director of Product Licensing for Invent-Tech, chiming in with some thoughts on our latest success! As you can see from the post below, we have reached yet another licensing agreement on an innovative household product. We’re especially proud of the fact that 3 of our recent successes have actually come with the same company. This is a perfect example of how trust and rapport can be built up between a company such as ours and a leading manufacturer in a particular industry.
The reality is that industry needs a constant stream of innovation in order to survive, and thanks to our inventors, Invent-Tech is in optimal position to serve as a source of new product ideas for virtually any industry.
It is gratifying for us to not only see our clients succeed, but to also see a good perception of our invention roster being fostered with specific companies. We know that with every positive experience a manufacturer has with an Invent-Tech product and client, the door is opened up that much more for future product ideas that we will eventually submit to them.

Hello, this is Juan C. Blanco, Director of Product Licensing for Invent-Tech. I had the pleasure of participating in a strategic planning session with Invent-Tech senior management yesterday, a meeting that was held to identify exciting new ways for us to continue to give our inventors’ product ideas the best chance at success.
A host of different initiatives were discussed, and although they are all considered tentative and still in development at this point, I can say that they all revolve around one very important theme: finding ways to proactively get information on our inventor’s products into the hands of as many companies as possible with maximum efficiency.
We’ve prided ourselves at Invent-Tech in never becoming complacent with our approaches, particularly when it comes to servicing our clients, and we think these latest strategies will bring about some very positive outcomes.
We’ll certainly provide more details in this space as soon as they become available. Stay tuned!

Coral Gables, Florida, February 14, 2006 – Every day, typical, ordinary people come up with extraordinary new product ideas. The process of turning that idea into an actual product, however, is fraught with difficulties that can discourage many would-be inventors from pursuing their dream. Most inventors typically lack the experience, time, contacts and other resources required to develop and advance a conceptual invention to the stage where it’s ready for the marketplace.
In simple economic terms of supply and demand, the gap that exists between the creators of new products and the companies that license those inventions has always been a barrier – though, ironically, both desperately need and aggressively seek out the other.
Through years of dedicated work on their inventors’ behalf, Invent-Tech has developed and perfected a revolutionary method of securing licensing agreements. “2005 was our most successful year ever, in terms of maximizing the number of licensing agreements we’ve been able to secure for our inventors”, stated Juan Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing. “We are extremely confident that 2006 will prove to surpass all previous results using this approach. It has worked very, very well”.
Invent-Tech’s proprietary invention licensing approach is so unique, innovative and effective, that they have recently applied for utility patent protection. Using this proven new methodology, Invent-Tech, in association with their patent attorneys and licensing subsidiary, has secured more than 100 licensing agreements for individual inventors from manufacturers and marketing companies. Only available from Invent-Tech, this method represents a tremendous shift in the status quo throughout the entire invention development industry. By providing such a significant advantage for their clients, Invent-Tech uniquely positions itself as the dominant market leader both now and for the future.

Parents can attest to the fact that children can sometimes be a handful, to say the least. Even those who don’t have kids must recognize the plethora of needs a child requires. But what about the needs of the parent? They need to find a leak proof diaper or a cold medicine that will keep those ever-running noses from dripping all over the back seat. They need to find a spill-proof sippy cup that is actually spill-proof and won’t get dumped over onto the morning paper. They need to find a way to lull our tiny loved ones to sleep granting some much-deserved peace and quiet at the end of long and hectic day.
Invent-Tech is helping clever and inventive moms and dads from across the country do these things and more. These inventors are not only the parents of infants, toddlers and angst-filled teens, but are now becoming the parents of ingenious concepts and products that could revolutionize the child-care industry.
A gentleman from Birmingham, AL has been working on clever methods to childproof a home. A grandmother from North Carolina has thought of a way to keep her grandchildren happily occupied. A grandfather from Maryland invented a new potty training method for little boys. Invent-Tech is assisting these and many other inventors in trying to bring their dreams to reality.
Approximately two million children are hurt in home-related injuries each year. Childproofing your home can easily prevent many of these accidents. A new invention called the My - T Safe Outlet Cover has been specially created to prevent children from inserting objects into an open socket outlet. Its unique design provides safer conditions, eliminating the possibilities of electric shock. It is a product simple enough for adults to use, yet too advanced for children to operate. Affordably priced and easy to install, its life saving features afford parents and caretakers peace of mind. Inventor Derek S. from Birmingham, Alabama began developing his idea for the My - T Safe Outlet Cover in the fall of 1999. He was motivated to create this product after viewing a show on television where a child was fatally electrocuted after inserting a metal rod into an open electrical outlet.
Traveling with small children can be an ordeal that many parents dread. A new product, the Child’s Travel Table promises to make this much more bearable. The Child’s Travel Table keeps children of all ages occupied during long hours on the road or in an airplane. Its innovative design allows children to work with small books, pencils, crayons, and paper. Best of all, the Child’s Travel Table is easy to transport and store away. Inventor, Julie A., of Flat Rock, NC began developing the idea in 2000. She was motivated to create the product because she wanted to provide her grandchildren with something useful to do while traveling.
The Little Boy’s Urinal teaches young boys how to use a urinal. Its innovative design makes it simple and allows young children to easily grasp and master the concept. Use of the Little Boy’s Urinal will insure that young boys learn at the critical training stage. Because it’s specifically for boys, the presence of the Little Boy’s Urinal can also provide a method of teaching young girls the difference between how boys and girls use the bathroom. It’s sure to be a hit with the millions of parents worldwide. The inventor, Frederic J. of Laurel, Maryland, began developing the idea in August of 1997. He was motivated to create the product one day while watching his three-year-old grandson wait his turn to use the bathroom along with a line of little girls who assumed that his grandson had to wait “just like them”.
Additional information about these inventions can be obtained by contacting the Press/Publicity Department of Invent Tech. at (800) 940-9020 Ext. 2285 or products@invent-tech.com. Are we a broken Nation, or for that matter broken globally? Over the past several years our country and countries like ours have been devastated, torn and ravaged. Natural disasters such as the hurricanes that struck Florida and the South Eastern United States last summer, flooding in the Midwest, tornados in the central plains and the audacious Tsunami that pulverized eastern Asia, are examples of occurrences beyond our control that caused millions of dollars in damages across the world. However, out of the ashes and up from the ruins people mend. Families mend. And with a bruised and battered spirit people find a way, find the tools and the gumption to fix it and make it better. Invent Tech is a Florida based marketing and promotions company who witnessed part of these tragedies and has become the “Tool”, to promote the tools, that are helping people rebuild homes, towns and families. Invent Tech is proud to call some of these Inventors their clients.
Jeff S. works in the construction trade and has invented a product that he is sure will bring convenience to anyone using a chain saw. The Chain Saw Radius Cut Saw offers precision and speed during use. It cuts through over eight inches of thickness and is easy to maneuver when following a pattern. This product is versatile as it can be used to cut though beams, thick timbers, logs and many other items. Additionally, its affordable cost is certain to make it an attractive product to a wide market of consumers.
Cesar U., an electrician by trade, values any tool that makes his job easier. He has used tools for stripping romex wire in the past, only to be disappointed. The stripper did not satisfactorily remove the insulation from the copper itself. The San Ysidro, California resident created the Romex Stripper in order to better fill this niche. This innovative tool completely and correctly strips the romex wire, making for more efficient work. The Romex Stripper will help household electricians save time, which in turn will save money for workmen and consumers alike. Mr. U’s invention is safe and easy to use, which makes it a necessary addition to every electrician’s tool belt or kit.
If you work in construction, you know that oftentimes you are forced to improvise. Frank O., from Tompkinsville, Kentucky is a truck driver and was inspired to develop a product after watching construction workers using five-gallon buckets to store tools on job sites. The tools became rusty and disorganized, causing him to come up with a better solution, which he calls the Nail & Tool Storage Bucket. This useful new product provides consumers with an easy way to organize nails and tools on a job site. The Nail & Tool Storage Bucket prevents water from entering and causing nails and tools to rust. It is easy to use and affordable, and great for a growing market of consumers worldwide.
Joe L., from Los Lunas, New Mexico bought a piece of oak wood to use on a window sill for a house he had bought as an investment. After varnishing and sealing it, he gave it to a carpenter to install. The carpenter hammered two nails into it, and subsequently, damaged its beauty. That’s what prompted Mr. L. to create the Joiner & Tapper. This valuable new product enables users to join two boards together without nailing them and marring the beauty of the wood. The Joiner & Tapper eliminates the need to nail and caulk completely. It saves time, money and frustration, making it a must have for a growing market of consumers worldwide.
Bent nails and a sore thumb are just two of the common mishaps that can occur when a hammer is misused. But perhaps the solution is not in learning how to use a hammer, but in making a better hammer. Thankfully, David S. has done just that. His invention the Rammer Hammer proves that hammer usage can be easy for everyone. Mr. S. accredits his invention to his father, who has been an inspiration throughout this process. His invention is easy to use not just for construction workers, but for women and children, too. The Rammer Hammer ensures that wives don’t have to wait for their husbands to make that small repair around the house, because they can do it themselves. It is perfect for hammering nails in small areas and eliminates damage to both the nail and the surface it’s being hammered into. This product is beneficial around construction sites and households alike.
These original ideas are now being made available for licensing to manufacturers interested in new product development, in many different and diverse industries. These Inventors are hoping to have their products and ideas in full production and available to the public within the very near future.

Americans more and more, came to the conclusion some time ago that the “melting pot” in which they lived could not be applied to the United States and it’s cultural diversity anymore. The metaphor of “melting pot” has been replaced by phrases that better suit the actual circumstances of this country. Metaphors of “Salad Bowls” or “Pizzas” are used nowadays to describe a population of cultural diversity and a nation that has found an ever growing and insatiable love for food. It could be said that Americans have created a national cuisine of their own and along with that varied cornucopia of edibles comes a plethora of gadgets, gimmicks and contraptions used to enhance flavor, increase portions, and embellish taste. So, who do people go to in order to market their ideas and quests to share their recipes and notions of making it easier and tastier to consume food in America? Invent Tech is serving up ample portions of promotional strategies to help consumers bring their ideas to the marketplace and to the table.
Basting is the process of moistening (meat, for example) periodically with a savory liquid, such as melted butter, sauce, or natural juices especially while cooking. Modern-day cooks, however, are constantly seeking ways reduce food preparation time, preferably without sacrificing flavor. A new invention called the Ricksum Flavor Injector Bottle has been specially created to keep cooked meat, juicy and tender. No more dry meat! Its unique design puts the flavor back into the meat while cooking. This product is affordable, efficient and a success in making mouths water. The Ricksum Flavor Injector Bottle will improve the taste and quality of meat, appealing to a growing market of consumers. Rick B., a resident of Evansville, Indiana is the inventor of the Ricksum Flavor Injector Bottle. Mr. B. greatly enjoys cooking as a hobby, and he knew that such an invention would make food even more delicious.
Flushing, Ohio resident Fred H. is the inventor of the Universal Pattie Maker. There was a time when he needed someone else to make patties for him, but that didn’t work out. That’s why he created the Universal Pattie Maker, and he kept it simple. This great new product consists of five pieces. It doesn’t require power, it’s portable, easy to clean, reliable and so simple that a child could use it. The Universal Pattie Maker gives users a choice as to make four or five patties per pound, unlike other pattie makers, and can also use any ground meat. By purchasing a Universal Pattie Maker, consumers will have the opportunity to take advantage of buying meat in bulk and making their own patties, which will save them money.
Who doesn’t like ice cream? Almost everyone enjoys a scoop, especially on a hot day. It’s even better when something else is added to it. Bruce F., from Jacksonville, Florida was inspired to develop a product when his brother passed away and he saw a need for it. This prompted him to create Ice Cream Pastries. This great new product provides anyone who eats them with a delicious snack or dessert. Ice Cream Pastries are satisfying and perfect on a sunny day. They are sure to put a smile on anyone who has a sweet tooth, making them a must have for a growing market of consumers worldwide.
Ronald W. of Mountain Home, Idaho has invented a fabulous new product called the Mister Mist. This ingenious new product was specially created to soften bread, buns, muffins and doughnuts. Its unique features turn hard leftover bread products into delicious, warm morsels. The idea is perfect for large families and can be used in any environment. It’s also convenient, affordable and will save the user time and money. The product is sure to be an instant success, appealing to a large variety of consumers worldwide.
Potatoes eaten with the skin are a rich source of vitamin C and potassium, and a good source of fiber. In fact, a medium-sized potato with the skin contains 21 percent of the daily value of potassium. John B. loves his potatoes, especially with the skin. Consequently, the Las Vegas, Nevada resident developed a product called the Potato Cleaner. Ingeniously designed, this device effectively removes all dirt from the skin of potatoes. It is flexible to offer a comfortable grip, and easy to clean after each use. This helps maintain the vitamins found on potato skins, and with its affordable cost, it is certain to appeal to a wide market of consumers.
These original ideas are now being made available for licensing to manufacturers interested in new product development, in many different and diverse industries. These Inventors are hoping to have their products and ideas in full production and available to the public within the very near future.

Over recent years, a growing population of parents and caregivers as well as the general public has contributed to the onslaught of concepts and ideas for the safety products industry. Increases in misdemeanors and serious crimes from petty theft to terrorist related threats have prompted what could have been widespread panic, to a retaliation of protecting inherent human rights. At the forefront of these rights is the right to feel safe and protected from harm. Invent-Tech, who’s tag line is “The Launchpad for New Ideas”, certainly has been a widely utilized company for promoting safety related products and helping bring them to the marketplace. Invent-Tech has witnessed first hand the publics need to increase productivity in this industry and meet the demands of outraged citizens who want to see more items of this nature available at an affordable retail level.
In 2002, according to the US Department of Justice, there were an estimated 17.5 million property crimes to persons and their households, including burglary, motor vehicle theft, and theft. Additionally, an estimated 5.3 million violent crimes to people age 12 and over including rape, sexual assault, robbery, aggravated assault and simple assault; and an estimated 155,000 personal thefts such as pocket picking and purse snatching were also committed With this in mind, Alexandria, Virginia resident, Aman B. developed a product called the HBF Alert System. This ingenious invention was specially created to offer increased personal protection against assaults, robbery, rape or abduction. It combines two defensive features that engage simultaneously with a simple touch. Additionally, a tracking system increases life-saving abilities, and a wireless technology notifies authorities upon activation. The HBF Alert System is compact, affordably priced and appealing to a growing market of consumers concerned with personal safety.
Nearly 800,000 children are reported missing each year in the United States alone. With deep and heartfelt concerns, parents are offered some assurance with a new product, the Proximity Alert Belt. This item informs parents where their children are and the proximity between them. It calms caregivers while it acts as a tracking device. With such innovation, consumers and households everywhere will appreciate this technological piece. Inventor Steven D. of Canton, Kansas began developing the Proximity Alert Belt in January 2004. Mr. D. grew concerned over his child’s safety. As a result, he created an impressive personal safety component.
The death of a law enforcement friend, who was killed in the line of duty, led Patrick B., a resident of Hollywood, Florida to develop a product called The Phoenix. During routine traffic violation stops, The Phoenix incorporates visual and auditory features, which allow the officer to take the appropriate action. In turn, it increases the officer’s safety. This product is of great benefit to any law enforcement official, as there is no other product that satisfies the increased demand for safety.
Nowadays, terrorism is a much talked about subject. People all over the world are more aware of it and security in airports and other such places is reinforced. James S., a senior military analyst from Virginia Beach, Virginia, sees and hears media reports on terrorism all the time and wanted to find a way to prevent these horrific acts from happening. That’s why he created F.I.E.L.D.2.This innovative product helps prevent explosives from causing dreadful catastrophes. F.I.E.L.D.2 is designed to save lives around the world. This invention is ideal for use in military and security facilities everywhere, helping to deter terrorists and suicide bombers.
Concerned with overall safety since the September 11th tragedy, Roger S. had an idea for an ingenious product that will grant some peace of mind to individuals: the Lock Strap. The Lock Strap is a new product, specially created to offer a sense of security to users with their personal belongings. This device utilizes proprietary features to deter theft, as it ensures that no individual other than the owner will access the content of a purse, bag or any small personal item. When clothing designers such as Christian Dior, Betsy Johnson, and Jean Paul Gautier, embark on a new creation, is it just color theory, fabric texture and perhaps a plunging neckline they are thinking about? Do you think they ever wondered if their clothing lines could serve a practical purpose instead of just a fabulous fashion statement? Clients working with Florida based invention marketing and promotions company, Invent-Tech, have taken their “Fashion Forward” concepts to a whole new level. Practicality and purpose seem to make for a new type of trend setting apparel and Invent-Tech is helping to lead the way down the catwalk of new ideas.
When individuals wear clothing without pockets it can be difficult for them to carry items such as money, identification, or their keys. Most people stick these items in their shoe or their sock, which can make walking very uncomfortable, and the items, could easily fall out and accidentally be lost. Now there is a new hat that provides users with compartments to place personal items safely and securely so they do not get lost. Inventor Mark T. of Canfield, Ohio began developing the idea for the Pocket Hat in January of 2001. He was jogging and he had no place to put his money or his I. D. when the idea came to him. If you’re a busy person, then convenience is always at a premium. For instance, if you go to work and plan on going out afterwards, it’s probably necessary to bring a change of clothes. Treshetta S., from Fresno, Texas wanted to make choosing her footwear as simple as possible. She was going to a sporting event and didn’t want to bring a separate pair of shoes for afterwards. That’s why she created the Interchangeable Heel. This valuable new product eliminates having to carry multiple pairs of shoes. The Interchangeable Heel allows the user to have two different styles of shoe, making it perfect for almost any occasion. It’s easy to use and comes in different sizes, colors and styles. The Interchangeable Heel is a great addition to any woman’s shoe collection.
Symmetry means being the same, or even on each side. Most humans, however, have one body part bigger than the matching pair. This is even more inherent in women who have endured mastectomies.
A new invention called the Mix n’ Match Bra has been specially created to bring comfort to women with asymmetrical breasts. Its unique design offers adjustable features that grant convenience to women worldwide. The Mix n’ Match Bra is available in a variety of colors and sizes, and is affordably priced.
