Update: Invent-Tech sends first Innovation Direct™ package to AAPEX Show 2007 lead…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with our Friday update. We fittingly wrapped up our week with the sending of yet another Innovation Direct package. On this occasion, preliminary, non-confidential information on 10 inventions from the Invent-Tech database was sent to a company that we had met at the AAPEX Show 2007 and that has distribution in over 45 countries worldwide. This is the same manufacturer that we had most recently reported on in a November 21st entry (”Update: Invent-Tech begins putting together initial Innovation Direct™ package for AAPEX Show 2007 lead…“).

Our contact at the manufacturer, who is also one of the company principals, had explained to our trade show contingent during AAPEX that they had mainly specialized in bicycle and motorcycle cleaning and preservation accessories over their two decades in business, but were also looking to expand their product line and scope going forward. Accordingly, the group of product ideas sent to them earlier Friday by the Manufacturer Response Team member managing their Innovation Direct account included a variety of items that matched their stated preferences.

Naturally, we now excitedly await our contact’s feedback on this initial information he’s reviewed and look forward to finding out which inventions from the group will be of further interest to him. As soon as any new developments transpire with this situation we will bring you an update, here on the Invent-Tech Network.

December is here and the nation’s preeminent inventor assistance firm is ready to close out 2007 on a successful note. Join us Monday as we kick off the final month of the year!

Update: 9 of out 15 Invent-Tech inventor product ideas subject of further interest from Innovation Direct™ company…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with an exciting Thursday update. Just yesterday, we had reported on the Manufacturer Response Team sending preliminary, non-confidential information on 15 product ideas to an Oklahoma-based company that has been part of our Innovation Direct  company for several months (”Update: Invent-Tech prepares and sends Innovation Direct™ package consisting of 15 ideas to Oklahoma-based company…“). We are pleased to report that we received word via e-mail earlier Thursday that the manufacturer is interested in reviewing detailed design information on 9 inventions from that group!

Due to the fact that Invent-Tech already has a permanent commitment of confidentiality signed by this company in the form of their Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement, the Manufacturer Response Team member managing their Innovation Direct  account was able to immediately provide them with access to the respective invention websites of the ideas they had designated as being of interest. We now anxiously await their further impressions, and certainly hope that at a minimum, they will see enough potential in these items to want to execute exclusive developmental agreements for them.

Update: Invent-Tech prepares and sends Innovation Direct™ package consisting of 15 ideas to Oklahoma-based company…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with our mid-week update. Earlier Wednesday, the Manufacturer Response Team member managing the Innovation Direct  account of an Oklahoma-based company that has been a part of the program since July 2007 prepared and sent our contact at the manufacturer a package of preliminary, non-confidential information on 15 ideas from the Invent-Tech database. This is the same company that we had most recently reported on in an August 9th entry (”Update: Invent-Tech receives feedback from Oklahoma-based Innovation Direct™company regarding 6 inventions being reviewed…“).

As with the previous 2 packages sent to this company, the ideas included spanned the consumer electronics, home electronics, computer accessories, and home security products categories. This manufacturer, which is the exclusive U.S. licensee of one of the world’s most recognizable electronic brand names, had recently emphasized to us that they were once again ready to review product ideas from our database.

We now await our contact’s feedback on which inventions from the group are of more interest after their review of the preliminary, non-confidential information, after which we will execute a version of the company’s non-disclosure agreement that will encompass the items they specify. From that point, we will send our contact access to all of the detailed design information available on those inventions and attempt to work towards licensing success for all of them.

Our Innovation Direct  program continues to be a stupendous vehicle for simultaneously positioning multiple product ideas from our database for success!  Continue to join us on the Invent-Tech Network for the latest!

Accordingly, we have already sent our contacts at the company access to the invention websites for each of these items, and now await their feedback. In the recent past, this company has entered into several exclusive developmental agreements on Invent-Tech inventor product ideas, so we are hopeful that similar results will be obtained with this latest group.

Invent-Tech inventor automotive accessory receiving serious interest from Arizona-based company; inventor may be shipping prototype soon…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with a Monday update. We kick off our post-Thanksgiving week with some exciting news, as it appears that the interest in an Invent-Tech inventor automotive accessory being displayed by an Arizona-based manufacturer is quickly picking up steam.

This particular scenario began when the company received preliminary, non-confidential information on the invention back in late October through one of Invent-Tech’s Manufacturer Introduction Packages. After determining they had an interest in learning more details, the company sent in their response and promptly signed the non-disclosure agreement that Invent-Tech requested they execute.  The Manufacturer Response Team member handling this situation immediately sent the manufacturer access to the invention website and additionally, conducted a telephone conversation with the president of the company regarding a written request for a prototype of the invention that he had sent back with the agreement.

The president of the company explained he was interested in reviewing the inventor’s prototype first-hand and also taking a look at any written records of tests that the inventor may have conducted with the product. The Manufacturer Response Team member spoke with the inventor regarding the manufacturer’s request and although he does not have any written results, the inventor is certainly willing to ship some of his sample units to the company for review. Additionally, the inventor reported that he indeed has tested his prototypes on two of his vehicles and has observed very satisfactory performance on each occasion.

This information has already been communicated back to the manufacturer, and there is a possibility that they will sign an exclusive developmental agreement for the product idea in order to be able to review the prototypes and perform their due diligence on the invention. As customary, we will certainly keep you abreast of all developments with this situation, here on the Invent-Tech Network.

Update: Invent-Tech begins putting together initial Innovation Direct™ package for AAPEX Show 2007 lead…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with a Wednesday update. A few weeks ago, we had brought you several reports here on the Invent-Tech Network regarding the leads that our trade show contigent was garnering during the AAPEX Show 2007. One such company was an established manufacturer of bicylce and motorcycle accessories that had been a leader in their industry for two decades, and that was looking to expand their product lines further. We had elaborated on this company in an October 30th entry (”Another major contact highlights early afternoon of Day 1 of AAPEX Show 2007 for Invent-Tech…“).

We are pleased to report that the Manufacturer Response Team member that will be managing this company’s Innovation Direct account has already begun work towards putting together their initial batch of product ideas from the Invent-Tech roster. Searches through the database have been initiated in conjunction with the specific product categories our contact at the company communicated to us, and we expect that the group will be complete shortly after we return from the Thanksgiving weekend holiday.

We are always enthused when a new company joins the ranks of Innovation Direct, and we also are excited about the fact that several other manufacturers met at the AAPEX event will soon be receiving their initial packages from us as well. Stay tuned to the Invent-Tech Network for all the latest!

Update: Invent-Tech receives prompt feedback from New York-based company on latest Innovation Direct™ package…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with our Tuesday update. We are pleased to once again provide a tangible example of one of the most impressive characterisitics of our dynamic Innovation Direct program– considerably prompt feedback from the manufacturers who review invention information from our database. We have already received feedback from the New York-based manufacturer that we had most recently reported on just yesterday (”Invent-Tech sends out information on 20 product ideas overall on Monday through Innovation Direct™…“).

As we’d mentioned in that posting, we had sent preliminary, non-confidential information on 10 product ideas from the Invent-Tech database in the household, pets, and fitness categories. One of our contacts at the company has already reviewed these details and replied with an interest in signing a non-disclosure agreement on 5 of the inventions. Once the confidentiality is guaranteed, we will be able to forward the company access to all of the detailed design information that we have on each item.

We are always enthused when dealing with this particular company, as they have been extremely diligent about giving many of the inventions from the Invent-Tech roster a thorough and fair review in the past, and have also entered into exclusive developmental agreements on several of them. Only time will tell if this latest group will meet with similar success, and we will keep you abreast of any developments in this regard, here on the Invent-Tech Network.

Invent-Tech sends out information on 20 product ideas overall on Monday through Innovation Direct™…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, here with our Monday update. We kicked off the week with a focus on our Innovation Direct program by sending out preliminary, non-confidential information on twenty product ideas overall to a total of three manufacturers.

Ten of the inventions were sent to the New York-based company that we had most recently reported on in a November 16th entry (”Update: New York-based Innovation Direct™ company declines further interest in 4 Invent-Tech inventor product ideas; next package of items already being put together…“). As we’d stated in that posting, we were already working on the next batch of items to send to this company, as they have proven to be one of the most responsive and prompt in our Innovation Direct program. Earlier Monday, we finished preparing the batch of ideas, which consisted of items in the kitchen, fitness, and pet categories, and sent them via e-mail to our contact.

The remaining ten inventions were in the hardware and tool categories, and were sent to two companies in our Innovation Direct program that have already reviewed one previous group of ideas prior to this latest batch. One of the companies is a multi-billion dollar tool manufacturer that we had most recently reported on in an October 22nd entry (Update: Invent-Tech receives long overdue feedback from Innovation Direct™ company on product ideas…).

The other company is an Ontario-based outfit that we had last mentioned in an October 19th entry (”Update: Invent-Tech receives long-awaited feedback from Innovation Direct™ company on initial package of ideas; two inventions subject of further interest…“).  A few days ago, our contact at this company had informed us that the two inventions mentioned in that posting were no longer of interest to them, and that they were prepared to receive a new batch of product ideas to look over. Accordingly, we sent them information on the aforementioned 10 inventions for their review.

Regardless of the short week, Invent-Tech is diligently at work trying to put as many product ideas in the best possible position to succeed. Join us Tuesday for more news!

Update: New York-based Innovation Direct™ company declines further interest in 4 Invent-Tech inventor product ideas; next package of items already being put together…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with our end-of-week update. Earlier Friday, we received word from our contact at a New York-based Innovation Direct company that had been evaluating the detailed design information on 4 Invent-Tech inventor product ideas over the last several weeks. This is the same company we had most recently reported on in an October 3rd entry (”Update: Invent-Tech receives word on progress of evaluation of four inventions from Innovation Direct™ company…“).

As we’d explained in that posting, the company had received preliminary, non-confidential information on 12 product ideas overall in their latest Innovation Direct package and had selected the aforementioned 4 items for further review. After agreeing to confidentiality, they had received access to the detailed design information on each from the Manufacturer Response Team, and had discussed the products at their company’s Invention Committee meeting.

The word received from our contact confirmed that the company did not want to continuing pursuing any of the inventions for a variety of reasons. As customary, they did request that we begin putting together another group of inventions as soon as possible for their review, an exercise which has already begun.

Our relationship with this company through our Innovation Direct program since we reestablished a connection with them during the National Hardware Show earlier this year has been a prolific one, as they have signed a number of exclusive developmental agreements on several inventions from the Invent-Tech roster over the past several months. While we have yet to reach licensing success for any of these items in conjunction with this company, we certainly know that the secret is to keep putting the numbers in our favor by sending them new product ideas to review on a consistent basis.

Join us Monday as we kick off what will be a great holiday week!

Invent-Tech receives signed exclusive developmental agreement from manufacturer for women’s apparel product…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with an exciting Thursday update. Earlier Thursday, we received a signed exclusive developmental agreement from a Florida-based manufacturer on a women’s apparel invention from the Invent-Tech roster. This same company had expressed an advanced level of interest in a feminine undergarment invention from the Invent-Tech roster back in March, but had eventually opted not to go further with that product.

Ironically, their interest in this current invention was initiated during the final conversation the company contact had with the Manufacturer Response Team member he’d been dealing with regarding the aforementioned feminine undergarment item. The Manufacturer Response Team member alertly ascertained that the manufacturer might be a good fit for the women’s apparel item and e-mailed the preliminary, non-confidential information at that point to them. After agreeing to sign a non-disclosure agreement for the invention, the company was sent a package containing access to the invention website.

Without hesitation, the manufacturer decided to send back the exclusive developmental agreement after viewing the website, in order to get their evaluation process started without any potential encumberances, such as other companies entering the fray. They will now spend the next several weeks performing the necessary due diligence on the invention, in order to determine whether it will be worth a long-term commitment on their part.

We are enthused about this turn of events and will keep you up to date on all developments, here on the Invent-Tech Network. Join us Friday as we wrap up another terrific week!

Update: Invent-Tech set to receive consumer electronics product prototype from inventor for second time; unit to eventually be sent to manufacturer…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with a Wednesday update. Earlier Wednesday, one of the members of our Manufacturer Response Team made contact with the inventor of a consumer electronics accessory from the Invent-Tech roster that has been the subject of interest from a New York-based manufacturer for several weeks. This is the same situation we had most recently reported on in an August 29th entry (”Update: Invent-Tech receives prototype of consumer electronics accessory from inventor; unit to be shipped to interested manufacturer…“).

At the time of that posting, the inventor had sent us his working prototype for us to be able to test it and then send it off the manufacturer. We managed to successfully confirm that the sample unit worked just as intended, but before we could ship it off to the potential licensee, part of the prototype malfunctioned. Therefore, the product was sent back to the inventor at that time for repair, and the company was informed of what had transpired.

We were able to verify earlier Wednesday that the inventor has rectified the situation, and the unit should be in full working order again. After confirming with our West Coast-based industry partner via e-mail that the manufacturer still has a strong interest in reviewing the sample first-hand, the Manufacturer Response Team member handling the situation spoke with the inventor and asked him to re-ship the prototype as soon as possible. The inventor was pleased with the news that the manufacturer remains a viable option for his product and agreed to send us the sample immediately.

We are pleased that the slight delay has not caused the manufacturer’s interest in this product to wane, and certainly hope that the inventor and Invent-Tech’s diligence will eventually pay off with a licensing agreement, but only time will tell. Naturally, we will keep you abreast of any new developments with this situation, here on the Invent-Tech Network. Check back with us Thursday!

Update: Potentially lucrative offer for previously licensed Invent-Tech inventor product’s patent rights may be imminent…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with a Tuesday update. From time to time we receive positive news regarding previously licensed Invent-Tech inventor products and are particularly pleased to report it, as this usually means the items are one step closer to commercial success. We have recently been keeping abreast of one particular scenario involving a previously licensed Invent-Tech inventor hunting accessory that may soon culminate in monetary gain for the inventors.

We are not at liberty to disclose many details at this point since the whole situation is at a particularly sensitive stage, but we can state that the company that may be making the inventors and the licensee an offer has been reviewing the prototype that the licensee has made of the product for some time, and is also currently having their patent attorneys review the provisional patent application that has already been filed for the invention. According to the latest updates we’ve received, if the company’s attorneys determine that the patented technology and product have merit, they have stated that they will likely make a lump sum offer to buy the patent rights outright.

This is obviously a situation that is still very much in flux and accordingly, we will report on all developments as they transpire, here on the Invent-Tech Network. Stay tuned!

Update: Innovation Direct™ company expresses advanced level of interest in two product ideas from initial package…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with an exciting report to kick off our week. We are pleased to report that we have received an update from the firm that is handling all of invention submission-related matters for an Arizona-based company that became a part of our Innovation Direct  program earlier this year at the International Home and Housewares Show. This is the same company that we had most recently reported on in a November 5th entry (”Update: Invent-Tech receives long-awaited communication, product wish list from Innovation Direct™ company’s representative…“).

As we’d explained in the aforementioned posting, the company had originally been sent detailed information on 16 product ideas from the Invent-Tech roster back in early April, but had yet to provide us with any concrete feedback on them. The firm they had hired had made contact with us earlier this month and had agreed to follow up with the company as soon as possible and attempt to obtain closure on our behalf on the inventions. Accordingly, we have now heard back from the liasion, who informed us that the manufacturer retains an interest in 2 out of the 16 inventions at this time, and who also informed us that they may wish to see any additional materials the inventors may have, including prototypes, in the near future.

We are enthused by how promptly we were able to get answers from this new contact, as well as the fact that 2 of the inventions are now the subject of an advanced level of interest from this company. We will continue to follow this situation closely and will keep you updated on any developments, here on the Invent-Tech Network. Stay with us!

Update: Michigan-based Innovation Direct™ company declines further interest in Invent-Tech inventor bathroom accessory…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with an update to wrap up our week. Earlier Friday, we received communication regarding a bathroom acccessory from the Invent-Tech roster from our contact at a Michigan-based Innovation Direct company that we had most recently reported on in a September 5th entry (”Update: Invent-Tech receives feedback from Michigan-based Innovation Direct™ company; written advanced level of interest secured in bathroom accessory from group…“).

As we’d reported in the aforementioned posting, the company had put their advanced level of interest into writing in the form of an exclusive developmental agreement at that point, and had also requested to review the inventor’s prototype first-hand. The inventor had sent the prototype to Invent-Tech shortly afterwards, and we had in turn sent it to the manufacturer. Since that point, we had not heard any feedback regarding the matter.

In response to an e-mail sent by the Manufacturer Response Team member that manages the company’s Innovation Direct account, the principal of the company explained that they had not found the prototype to demonstrate the potential or value of the product effectively, and that they had essentially decided to pass on the item. However, they are prepared to begin reviewing additional product ideas from the Invent-Tech roster through Innovation Direct as soon as possible.

We will continue in our attempts to successfully license this product idea and will also prepare another batch of inventions for this company as soon as possible. Join us Monday for the kick-off of another great week!

Update: Invent-Tech appears close to securing another licensing agreement…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with a Thursday update. Fresh on the heels of our announcement Wednesday of the licensing of the Shake ‘N Wake Pillow comes the news that an Invent-Tech inventor industrial accessory that we had most recently reported on in a September 26th entry (”Update: Licensing of Invent-Tech inventor industrial accessory appears imminent…“) may be inching ever closer to licensing success.

As we’d mentioned in the aforementioned posting, the potential licensee appeared close to making a final decision on the product at that point in time. Things had been in somewhat of a holding pattern in terms of any developments since then however, but an e-mail communication initiated by the Manufacturer Response Team with the inventor has yielded some positive news. As the inventor, who has been keeping close contact with the manufacturer, explained, the company principal has informed him that their attorneys are currently preparing the draft of a licensing agreement for our review. Additionally, the company’s patent attorneys will also be conducting one last detailed patent novelty search to make sure that there will be no obstacles in that area.

We are enthused by the latest news, even while understanding that there is no guarantee that this situation will culminate in licensing success. Naturally, we will continue to keep you updated on any developments, here on the Invent-Tech Network.

Join us Friday to see how we wrap up another momentous week!

Patience pays off for Invent-Tech inventors with the signing of potentially lucrative licensing agreement…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, here with a very positive Wednesday update. It is now official: the licensing agreement for the Invent-Tech inventor consumer electronics novelty product that we had most recently reported on just yesterday (”Breaking news: Invent-Tech receives signed licensing agreement from industry partner for consumer electronics item…“) has been signed by the co-inventors of the item, making it a fully executed document. Therefore, we are happy to declare that this is yet another licensing success for the nation’s preeminent inventor assistance firm!

The Missouri-based co-inventors of the Shake ‘N Wake Pillow, Jessica D. and Tina N., first approached Invent-Tech about their product idea close to 3 years ago. After opting to contract Invent-Tech to help represent the Shake ‘N Wake Pillow to industry, the co-inventors waited patiently as information on their concept was sent to over 100 manufacturers over the course of approximately 18 months. Interest arose in July from a New Jersey-based company working with our West Coast-based industry partner, and they had even opted to sign an exclusive developmental agreement at the time to further evaluate the potential of the invention. However, a few weeks later, they had declared that they did not deem the Shake ‘N Wake Pillow to be a good fit for their company and declined further interest.

In mid-September however, the principal of the company contacted our industry partner with the news that they had just acquired the license for a new animated series set to debut some time in 2008 on a prominent cable and satellite children’s television network, and emphasized to him that they felt the Shake ‘N Wake Pillow was a very good fit for the brand. The last several weeks therefore, have consisted of negotiations between the licensee, our industry partner, Invent-Tech, and the inventor, which resulted in a final version of the agreement.

The agreement contains a generous royalty rate and includes separate percentages tied in directly to whether the product sells with or without the character image that the licensee has licensed from the aformentioned television network. We certainly congratulate the co-inventors of the Shake ‘N Wake Pillow on what could eventually prove to be a lucrative opportunity and will keep the readers of the Invent-Tech Network updated on any developments!

Breaking news: Invent-Tech receives signed licensing agreement from industry partner for consumer electronics item…

Good afternoon, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with an exciting Tuesday afternoon  update. We are pleased to report that we have received a copy of the licensing agreement for a consumer electronics novelty item from the Invent-Tech roster already signed by the licensee and our West Coast-based industry partner, who participated in the negotiations. This is has been an ongoing situation for several months, and one that we most recently reported on in a September 21st entry (”Update: Invent-Tech takes another step towards licensing of consumer electronics accessory…“).

Our West Coast-based industry partner had originally made a request for consumer electronics items from the Invent-Tech roster on behalf of the New Jersey-based licensee of this invention back in the summer. After all of the invention information was reviewed at that point by both our industry partner and licensee, the manufacturer agreed to signed an exclusive developmental agreement for the product idea so they could further evaluate its potential. We had received word in September that the manufacturer had plans on entering into a licensing agreement, but the official execution of the document was delayed because the company principal was out of the country for the last several weeks.

The good news is that we now are only missing the inventor’s signature in order for the agreement to be official. The Manufacturer Response Team member handling this situation since the onset has already communicated with the inventor and faxed her the document for review and signature.

We will bring you official confirmation of licensing success as soon as possible, here on the Invent-Tech Network. Stay tuned!

Update: Invent-Tech receives long-awaited communication, product wish list from Innovation Direct™ company’s representative…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with an update to get another fantastic week started. Things got off on a very positive note today when we received communication from a representative of an Arizona-based company that we had originally met last March at the International Home and Housewares Show, and that we had most recently reported on in a May 11th entry (”Invent-Tech trade show team returns from National Hardware Show 2007; preliminary follow-ups begin…“).

As we’d mentioned in that posting, the company had joined our dynamic new product subscription service for manufacturers, Innovation Direct, at that point in time. We had then promptly prepared and sent them detailed design information on 16 items from the Invent-Tech roster after we had come to an agreement on confidentiality. However, before today, we had not yet heard any feedback from them on their impressions of the invention information in spite of several follow-up attempts by the Manufacturer Response Team member managing their Innovation Direct account.

That changed today when we received a call from the principal of a separate company that the manufacturer has hired to handle all matters related to the screening and reviewing of new product ideas submitted to it. The gentleman spent several minutes on the phone with us explaining his company’s role in receiving and processing any invention information sent to the manufacturer, and also e-mailed us the company’s latest product wish list so that we may begin searching the database for items that will match their preferences.

This in and of itself is very encouraging, but perhaps the most exciting part of the literature the gentleman sent us was the introduction to the wish list, where it was emphasized that this manufacturer’s focus on inventions and licensing is stronger than it has ever been. Additionally, the document also elaborated on some of the company’s distribution channels, a group that includes three of the largest retailers in the world!

Needless to say, we will begin searches through the Invent-Tech database this week in conjunction with the wish list received, and will keep you posted on all developments, here on the Invent-Tech Network. Additionally, we do expect to get closure on the original 16 inventions sent to this company through our new contact, and will report on that matter as well as soon as we have some news.

Join us Tuesday for more news!

Update: Invent-Tech inventor fishing accessory still the subject of advanced level of interest after 2 years…

Good evening, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with a post to wrap up our eventful week. We have focused exclusively on the AAPEX Show 2007 over the preceding three days, but there have also naturally been developments back at the Invent-Tech offices. One such situation is the advanced level of interest that continues to be displayed by an Indiana-based fishing products manufacturer in a fishing bait invention from the Invent-Tech roster after approximately 2 years of evaluation!

Our most recent contact with the company came earlier Friday, when the Manufacturer Response Team member managing this situation placed a call to one of the company principals. Our contact at the manufacturer explained that they have been working very closely with the inventor, a fact that we have been aware of since the onset of their interest, and that the inventor had just made a key modification they’d previously requested of him and had sent them a new sample of his product. The gentleman went on to explain that they currently had that sample in the hands of a fisherman that was going to be testing it for effectiveness.

The inventor has been through this process several times over the last 24 months with this company, sending them samples for testing and then obtaining feedback and making the necessary changes. The company emphasized that they still have a definite interest in the product, as they have been able to personally see how close it’s come to achieving the level of development and performance they would need to see in order to make a licensing commitment.

Our contact agreed to stay in touch with us and inform us of the test results as soon as they receive them. Needless to say, this is yet another example of the degree of perseverance, patience, and cooperation that is required of inventors if they want to provide their invention with a plausible chance of eventually making it to market. We applaud the spirit of this Invent-Tech inventor and remain committed to continuing to do whatever we can on our end to help the product idea eventually achieve licensing success!

Join us Monday as we kick off our first full week of what should be a terrific November!
