Day 1 of SHOT 2008 kicks off with a flourish for Invent-Tech…

Happy Saturday, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, chiming in with our first official SHOT (Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Show) 2008 report. Our trade show contingent has checked in from the Las Vegas Convention Center, and they report that the show has already lived up to its considerable advance billing. Advertised to be even larger than last year’s version of the event at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, this year’s proceedings appear to indeed

Traffic at the Invent-Tech booth has been brisk throughout the first few hours of the show, and our trade show team reports that several companies have already expressed serious interest in our Innovation Direct™ program. Included in these is a personal security products company that is interested in all types of self-defense and personal security-related concepts for review.

The SHOT Show not only features companies specializing in a wide variety of hunting, camping, and outdoor products, but also boasts a special section specifically devoted for law enforcement and security items. Therefore, we expect to make contacts like the one mentioned above right along with companies that are involved in the industries that are the namesake of the event.

Invent-Tech prepares for opening day of SHOT 2008…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Invent-Tech’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with our end-of-week update. This week, our updates will not stop after today’s, since tomorrow morning marks the opening of the expansive SHOT Show 2008. One of the members of our trade show contigent arrived at the show site, the Las Vegas Convention Center, earlier Friday, and already called in with a report on the proceedings during the show’s set-up day.

Our representative reported that not only does the show seem larger than ever this year, but that he has recognized a number of exhibitors from other shows that we have attended in recent months. Among those is one company who was at the Puerto Rico Gift and Variety Merchandise Show in September, and another who participated in the National  Hardware Show 2007 back last May.

With the event lasting a full 4 days, we expect there to be considerable opportunities for the Invent-Tech trade show contingent to make significant contacts for our dynamic new product information subscription service, Innovation Direct™.
